The solid-oak set is the most recent version of Haomacro’s 8-inch oak formula, built around a ceramic grinding core clad in stainless steel — ceramic where the seasoning is crushed (rust-proof, flavor-neutral), steel for structural strength. The body is a clean run of solid oak, marked S and P on both the base and the textured top so the pair never gets confused.
It behaves like the rest of the line: adjustable from fine to coarse with the top nut, refillable through the top, and happy with dry sea salt or whole peppercorns. Care is the standard wooden-mill routine — no dishwasher, dry brush for the mechanism (full steps in the cleaning guide).
